The AGF 2.0 system is a liquid dust aerosol generator with a binary and dispersed nozzle (dp_max = 2 m) according to VDI 3491-1/2

AGF 2.0 system

  • Exact adjustment of the operating parameters
  • Number concentration (CN) can be varied by the factor 10
  • Particle size distribution remains virtually constant, if CN is modified
  • Number distribution maximum is within the MPPS range
  • Virtually no power losses
  • Optimal concentration, no coagulation losses
  • Resistant to numerous acids, bases, and solvents
  • Robust design, stainless steel housing
  • The AGF 2.0 liquid dust aerosol generator system is very easy to operate
  • As opposed to the collision method, the AGF 2.0 does not generate any particles > 2 µm thanks to its cyclone.
  • Due to the fact that the AGF generates virtually no droplets < 2 µm, the consumption of materials is very low. thus ensuring a long dosing time.
  • With the use of DEHS the mean particle size is within the MPPS range for HEPA/ULPA filters

Dilution systems – DC 10000

The DC 10000 consists of four cascaded special dilution systems with the dilution factor 1:10. The DC 10000 dilution cascade has one aerosol inlet and four aerosol outlets. Depending on which aerosol outlet is connected to the measuring device, the aerosol with the dilution factors 1:10, 1:100, 1:1,000 or 1:10,000 are diluted and measured.

Dilution system – VKL 10

The VKL 10 series of dilution systems can reduce the concentration of aerosols by the dilution factor 01:10, also of very highly concentrated aerosols, in a defined and reliable way. The Palas® VKL 10 dilution systems are used in vertical operation for the particle size range up to 20 µm for powders and dusts. Dilution factors of up to 1:100,000 are achieved by cascading several VKL systems.

Dilution system – LDD 100

The dilution of large droplets is particularly important when measuring highly concentrated droplet aerosols. Since large droplets are difficult to dilute, standard systems only work up to a size of 1 – 2 μm. The newly developed dilution system LDD 10 (dilution factor 10) is the first system to dilute almost loss-free large droplets up to 10 μm.
