When a constant DC excitation voltage is applied to the potentiometer, it produces an analog voltage output directly proportional to the wind direction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The sensor\u2019s potentiometer linearity is within 1 percent of wind direction, ensuring precise measurements. The signal output is an analog DC voltage. The internal heater is powered by 24 VAC and allows for an operating temperature range of -40\u00b0C to 80\u00b0C (-40 \u00b0F to 176 \u00b0F).
