Overview about 96 Channel Digital I/O PCI Boards – PCI-DIO96 Series

The PCI-DIO96 Series of 82C55-based PCI digital boards provide a higher digital channel count than other PCI digital boards. Available with high current output.

PCI-DIO96 features:

  • PCI-DIO96 is a 96-bit line digital I/O board. The board provides 96-bit in a 24-bit group based on the 82C55 specification. The board provides the 96 bít in 24-bit groups based on the 82C55 specification.
  • PCI-DIO96H provides 96-bit digital I/O. The I/o is organized into four 24-bit groups based on 82C55 mode 0 emulation. Each 24-bit groups is divided into three eight-bit ports labeled PORTA, PORTB and PORTC. PORTC can be divided into two four-bit nibbles – Port C-HI and Port C-LO. Each of these ports can be individually programmed as input or output.
